The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the Information Brochure for NEET UG 2026. Candidates who wish to take admission through the NEET UG 2026 examination can submit their online application from 08-02-2026 to 08-03-2026.
Before applying, applicants are advised to read the official brochure carefully to check details such as syllabus, eligibility criteria, age limit, application fee, list of courses, participating universities, and other important instructions.

Application Fee
  • Application Fee for General Category: ₹1700/-
  • Application Fee for EWS / OBC: ₹1600/-
  • Application Fee for SC / ST / PH: ₹1000/-
  • Application Fee for Candidates Outside India: ₹9500/-
Mode of Payment: The fee can be paid through E-Challan (offline) or by using Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking through the online payment gateway.

NEET UG 2026: Age Criteria

Total Seats: As Per MCC / State Counseling Authority
  • Minimum Required Age: 17 years
  • Upper Age Limit: Not applicable
  • Eligible Date of Birth: Applicant must be born on or before 31 December 2009
Age Relaxation: Applicable as per government norms.
NEET UG 2026 Basic Eligibility
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) from a recognized board in India.

NEET UG 2026 Qualification Codes
  • Code 01: Candidates appearing in Class 12 (2026) can apply. However, they must pass the qualifying exam with required marks before the first round of counselling to be eligible for admission.
  • Code 02: 10+2 Candidates who have passed or equivalent examination after 12 years of study with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (including practicals) and English Mathematics or any other elective subject may also be included
  • Code 03: Candidates who have passed Intermediate/Pre-degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (with practicals) and English from a recognized board or university
  • Code 04: Passed Candidates who have Pre-professional or Pre-medical examination after Higher Secondary/Pre-University with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English, including practical tests
  • Code 05: Candidates who have completed the first year of a three-year degree course with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology (including practicals), and have passed 10+2 with these subjects and English
  • Code 06: Candidates who have completed B.Sc. with at least two subjects among Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany/Zoology)/Biotechnology and have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
  • Code 07: Any other equivalent 10+2 examination recognized as equal to Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (including practicals) and English.
Important Points – NEET UG 2026
  • For NEET UG 2026, Aadhaar Card will be required during the application and exam process.
  • You need to upload your recent live photo and one passport size photo (4x6 cm).
  • should be plain Photo background white and your ears must be clearly visible.
  • Your name and the date of photo (after 01 January 2026) should be written on the photo.
