    • For Single Paper:

CTET February 2026 Primary Level (Class I to V) Eligibility Criteria with Code

  • Applicants, senior secondary with at least 50% marks + passed/appearing in a 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education; OR
  • Applicants must have with a minimum of 45% marks + passed or appearing in of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education NCTE Regulations, 2002; OR
  • Senior Secondary with 50% marks + passed or appearing in 4- year B.El.Ed.
  • Applicants should have complete senior Secondary with 50% marks + passed or appearing in 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

CTET February 2026 Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) Eligibility Criteria with Code

  • Graduation + passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • 50% marks either in Graduation/Post-Graduation + passed/appearing in B.Ed.
  • Graduation with 45% marks + passed/appearing in B.Ed, as per NCTE.
  • Senior Secondary with 50% marks + passed/appearing in 4- year B.El.Ed.
  • Senior Secondary with 50% marks + passed /appearing in 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  • Graduation with 50% marks + passed/appearing in B.Ed.
  • NCTE recognized B.Ed. applicants are eligible for TET/CTET.
  • As per NCTE guidelines 11-02-2011, applicants pursuing NCTE / RCI-recognized teacher education courses listed in the 23rd of August 2010 notification are eligible TET/CTET.
  • Post-Graduation 55% marks/equivalent grade and passed/appearing in 3 years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
